The System Administrator will provide end-user support such as troubleshooting, administrator user accounts, perform backups, server maintenance and computer/IT support.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
  • Support company PC's, Phones and IT peripherals and office infrastructure needs.
  • Provide technical support for events, conferences, and meetings, on-site/off-site as required.
  • Maintain DR and BCP
  • Handle customer issues, provide appropriate solutions within defined SLA, follow-up to ensure resolution; Level 2 and Level 3 support inclusive.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and other stakeholders to enhance product quality and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to provide tech support off-hours as needed
  • Perform other system duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a system administration role
  • 3+ years of experience in providing technical support
  • Experience using ticketing systems such as JIRA
  • Working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Experience/Knowledge Installing, configuration, security patching, PKI, VPN, MFA, Scanning, Network Troubleshooting, Web Monitoring
  • Expertise in LAN, VLAN & WAN technologies, VoIP, IP routing protocols
  • Experience Supporting Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook/Teams/SharePoint etc.
  • Experience in SQL data migration.
  • Ability to run reports and matrix such as Network monitoring, Compliance etc.
  • Ability to apply seven principles: Availability, Maintainability, Usability, Scalability, Extensibility, Security, and Portability

Preferred

  • ITIL Certification
  • Experience/Knowledge in Azure Cloud
  • CCNA Certification
  • Experience/Knowledge in Salesforce administration

Skills

  • Proven skills in network engineering, operations, and performance analysis
  • Experience with leading server management and monitoring tools
  • Strong communication skills for training and assisting users
  • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple assignments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 30 pounds
